Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) Requirements.
The EPC rating of the property must show that it requires improvement. This means that properties with an EPC rating of D or higher will not be eligible for ECO4.
Homes with an EPC rating of F or G will receive the appropriate measures to improve the property to at least a D rating. Whilst homes with an existing EPC rating of D or E will be upgrades to at least a C rating.
The government has stated that they aim to set a minimum target of band E, F and G properties to be upgraded, so that the most energy inefficient are not left behind.
